Race Through Big Truck Farm Brewery
The Pedals & Pints mountain bike race features a custom-designed course that winds through the scenic and varied landscape of Big Truck Farm Brewery. This roughly 2-mile-long track showcases the natural beauty of the farm while offering a dynamic ride across multiple types of terrain. Racers will speed through open grass plains, navigate the rugged and root-filled paths of the surrounding woods, and weave between rows of hops in the brewery’s iconic fields. Depending on your experience level and race category, participants will complete multiple laps, making the course both accessible for beginners and challenging for seasoned cyclists. Designed to capture the spirit of off-road cycling, this cycling race in Maryland promises a thrilling ride for all. Final course details and lap counts will be announced as the event date approaches.
The fun doesn’t stop when the race ends. After the main ride, the celebration continues with cycling games, challenges for all ages, and the “Almost” 5K Course Sweeper Run around the brewery grounds. The event concludes with awards, kids’ races, and an after-party at Big Truck Farm Brewery.

- Cross-Country MTB Race – 10:30 AM start (waves approx. 2 minutes apart)
- “Almost” 5K Course Sweeper Run – approx. 12:30 PM start (after MTB concludes)
- Kids Bike Race & Bike Games – after the 5K race
- Awards Ceremony & After-Party – around 1:30 PM

Pedals & Pints is proudly presented by Racer’s Edge Promotions, Hartlove Enterprises, and Big Truck Farm Brewery. Now in its second year, this charity event donates all proceeds to Keep Punching, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting brain cancer research and patient care—a cause that is very close to our hearts.
Each discipline includes several age groups and skill level categories, with E-bike classes available in the Cross-Country MTB race. A modified kids’ course ensures young riders can take part in the fun as well.
We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Big Truck Farm Brewery in Parkton, Maryland for this exciting day of riding, running, games, and community. November weather can be unpredictable in Northern Baltimore County, so we’ve set a rain date of November 15, 2025. Unless it’s a monsoon, we’ll be out there pedaling, running, and raising funds for an incredible cause.
Race Categories
Participants in the Pedals & Pints event can choose from a range of race categories designed to accommodate all experience levels. Mountain bike racers will compete in divisions separated by age, gender, and skill level. New riders or those entering their first mountain bike race are encouraged to register in the Cat 3 division, while more experienced competitors should register in Cat 1. The mission behind Pedals & Pints is simple: bring together the local cycling community for a fun and challenging event while supporting a meaningful cause.
