Ride For a Cause
The mission behind Pedals & Pints is simple: bring together the local cycling community for a fun and challenging event while supporting a meaningful cause. This year, all proceeds from the mountain bike and cyclocross race will go directly to Keep Punching, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting patients, healthcare providers, and researchers in the fight against brain cancer. Whether you’re racing, cheering, or just attending, your participation helps raise critical awareness and funds for this impactful organization.
Mountain Bike Racing
Mountain bike racing takes cycling off the pavement and into rugged, natural terrain. Riders navigate dirt trails, steep climbs, and fast descents, often tackling rocks, roots, and other obstacles along the way. It’s a test of endurance, bike handling skills, and quick decision-making, all set against the unpredictable challenges of the outdoors.

Great Trails, Great Beer, and a Great Time
Held at Big Truck Farm Brewery, Pedals & Pints pairs the excitement of mountain bike and cyclocross racing with the laid-back atmosphere of one of Maryland’s favorite breweries. Nestled on a 250-acre working hop and grain farm in Parkton, MD, Big Truck Farm Brewery is known for its farm-to-glass craft beers, scenic views, and welcoming outdoor taproom. After the race, riders and spectators can kick back with local brews, enjoy delicious eats from food trucks, and take in live music and fall foliage.
